Frequently asked questions

Answers before you start

How do I type the page ranges?

Separate the parts with commas: “1-3, 4-6, 7” creates three files, with pages 1 to 3, 4 to 6 and page 7.

What does splitting by size do?

Consecutive pages go into the same part as long as the file stays under your limit. A single page that's already larger stays on its own, and the result tells you.

How do I open the ZIP on my phone?

On iPhone, tap the archive in the Files app and it unzips automatically. On Android, open it in the Files app and choose Extract.

Is the document uploaded?

No. Splitting happens locally in your browser.
