Frequently asked questions

Answers before you start

What does “flatten” mean?

The values you entered become part of the page, like ordinary text. They no longer disappear in programs that don't show form fields, and can't be changed by accident.

Does it work with dynamic XFA forms?

Not for filling in the fields. XFA forms can only be completed in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The tool recognises them and tells you.

Are accented characters shown correctly?

Yes. The text is written with a font that includes accented letters such as é, ü and á.

Is the document sent to a server?

No. Filling in happens in your browser.
